What methods do you offer for nameplates and labels? 

We offer several kinds of printing, Metalphoto, laser engraving, rotary engraving, etching, Anoseal and more!

What is the best option for my outdoor nameplate or ID tag? 

If your product only needs black text, Metalphoto is an extremely durable option that can be cost-effective for smaller quantities. Etching is a premium option for harsh environments (e.g. for application on a boat). We also have several methods to enhance the durability of printed plates.

What adhesive methods do you offer for nameplates and labels? 

We offer a large variety of adhesives for all surface types; If you do not know which adhesive you want, we can recommend one based on your application (e.g. bumpy plastic on a cooler, powder-coated vehicle, stainless steel appliance)

What if I am price sensitive? 

Our process is fully customized for each product, so we can adjust however you would like to fit your price point. This could include an imaging method change, fabrication change, or quantity discounts.

Do you have any standard nameplates or labels? 

We do not have any “stock” items. We do, however, have tooling for hundreds of shapes and can laser cut any custom shape.

What metals does Nameplates Div. offer? 

We work mostly with stainless steel and aluminum. We also offer brass, bronze, zinc, and more!

What label materials does Nameplates Div. offer? 

We stock a wide variety of vinyl, polyesters (Mylar), aluminum foils, and polycarbonates (Lexan).

What is your typical lead time? 

Our lead times can vary anywhere from 7 working days to 25 working days. This depends on the complexity of the job, number of colors, imaging process, and quantity. We do sometimes allow an expedite option, depending on the backlogs for the machinery required for your job.

What is your minimum order quantity? 

We do not have a minimum order quantity! We can produce orders from 1 prototype to a 20,000 piece batch.

What kind of art do you need in order to create my part? 

We require vector format art.

What if I cannot provide vector format art for my part? 

That’s OK! We have our own graphics department internally. We can add the art time creating this to the quote.

What is your return policy?

We understand that errors, defects, and damage happen.

Replacements of defective product are accepted within 30 days of shipment. If you are a dealer, we allow product replacements within 60 days of shipment.

Depending on the circumstance, customer service may require you to return the defective part to our facility prior to issuing a replacement.
